Cobb Middle to host NASA science concert
Cobb Middle School has been selected for Honeywell and NASA’s FMA Live! (http://www.fmalive.com/).
FMA Live! is a free, award winning, hip hop science concert developed by Honeywell and NASA to teach Newton’s Universal Law of Gravity and Three Laws of Motion. Named after Newton’s Second Law — Force equals Mass times Acceleration — FMA Live! uses professional performers, music, video and interactive science demonstrations to address learning objectives for students in grades 5 – 8 as outlined by the National Science Education Standards.
They will be at Cobb Middle School March 12 for two performances: 1st period (9:30am – 10:32am) and 3rd period (11:33am – 12:25pm). The afternoon performance will include students from Nims Middle and 50 of Sullivan Elementary 5th graders.
