The Love and Faith Community Church (LFCC) is pleased to announce its move to a new location. The new location for the church is 1410 East Indianhead Drive. In celebration of this exciting transition, LFCC will host a weekend full of events which begin July 30 and will conclude on August 1. All events will be held at the new location.
“We were very happy with the building that we were in, we just needed more ministry space,” said Anthony Davis, vice chairman of the church’s board of directors. The celebration will begin on Friday, July 30 with the “Praise in the Pew Rally,” starting at 7 p.m.
The Friday night service will include musical guests Timiney Figueroa Caton, Latreva Stallworth, and Gail Thompson Grant as well as the Love and Faith Mass Choir. The guest speaker for the evening will be Bishop L. Spenser Smith of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. On Saturday, July 31, radio personality, ‘The Apostle’ of 90.5, will host the annual “Shake Yourself Loose” concert at the new Love and Faith Community Church starting at 5 p.m. Performers will include Lisa Knowles and the Brown Singers, the Love and Faith Mass Choir and several other musical guests.
The celebration will culminate on Sunday, August 1, when the members of Love and Faith Community Church will have their first official service in their new building. Morning worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Love and Faith Community Church (LFCC) was established in September 2001 by Elder S. Lamar Simmons. With a vision of spreading love and building faith, LFCC continuously seeks to serve the Tallahassee community through numerous outreach efforts.
